What We Do

How You Can Help

Harbor House is a homeschool cooperative based in Ventura, CA offering a faith-based, hybrid program for children from TK-Grade 8. Our mission is to set a foundation that instills a life-long joy for learning, encourages the pursuit of unique passions & disciples each child to have an authentic bold faith through character building, problem solving, creativity, exploration & biblical truth.

Students enrolled at Harbor House have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activity-based learning that brings academics to life! Our program leads students through history and science courses where we utilize the world around us to enhance comprehension and make these subjects exciting and unforgettable. We also offer enrichment courses that allow students to explore topics such as baking, cooking, art, woodworking, physical fitness, choir, STEM engineering, second language and community service.

Our program is unique in that community and connection for the whole family is the heart of our program. Children gain lifelong friendships and have the opportunity to grow, lead and learn alongside children of all ages; while parents get the support and community they need through their homeschooling journey.

Your generous donation will allow our program to: Provide scholarships for low-income families; build out our study library; purchase supplies; keep tuition accessible for local families while providing a high-quality education; provide honoring wages to our hardworking teachers; expand, improve and maintain our campus.
